Starbucks have teamed up with Pokemon Go to turn cafes into ‘gyms’ – as well as launching an official ‘Pokemon Go Frappuccino’.
Today, Starbucks announced that they’ll be turning over 8,000 cafes across the US into gyms or Pokestops, where players can gather to either re-stock on Pokeballs or battle other Pokemon trainers.

Not only that, but you can also enjoy an official Pokémon Go Frappuccino – which consists of “a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino blended beverage and raspberry syrup blended with freeze dried whole blackberries and topped with whipped cream”. This will be available for a limited time, and it is yet to be announced whether they’ll be rolling the scheme out into the UK and rest of the world.

Back in July, McDonald’s also became an official competition arena for Pokemon Go players. News that McDonald’s had become the first real-life outlet to become an official partner of Pokemon Go helped the fast food giant have a big boost in its shares – rising by 9.8% in Japan overnight.
