Suede share new track ‘Don’t Be Afraid If Nobody Loves You’

'The Blue Hour' album is out in September

Suede have shared a second track from their forthcoming new album, ‘The Blue Hour‘.

The track ‘Don’t Be Afraid If Nobody Loves You’ follows on from ‘The Invisibles’, which was released last month. You can listen to the song below.

Suede will be releasing the album’s first official single next month, ahead of the release of the album on  September 21.

Anderson recently told NME of the new album: “It’s quite dank and troubling. A lot of this is about the terrors of childhood, so it’s quite unpleasant in lots of ways.

He added: “We have to inhabit Suedeworld and it’s not a very nice place! It’s set in a rural landscape, on the hard shoulder of the motorway, among the B-roads and among the rubbish that’s been fly-tipped. It’s set by a chain link fence with a dead badger lying rotting in the ground.”

Suede will hit the road for a short European tour in October, which includes a performance at London’s Eventim Apollo on October 12. Tickets are available here.

They will perform at:

Monday 1 – Paradiso,  Amsterdam, Netherlands
Thursday 4 – Fabrique, Milano, Italy
Tuesday 9 – The Koncerthuset, Copenhagen, Denmark
Wednesday 10 – The Koncerthuset, Copenhagen, Denmark
Friday 12 – Eventim Apollo, London, UK
