‘The Inbetweeners’ creators launch new TV production company

Iain Morris and Damon Beesley to create new shows for the BBC and Channel 4

Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, creators, co-writers and executive producers of hit UK comedy show The Inbetweeners, have announced they are establishing a new production company.

The pair will depart Bwark, the firm they established in 2004 and sold to Zodiak Media Group in 2011, to launch new initiative Fudge Park. As reported by The Guardian, Fudge Park has already been commissioned to produce shows for the BBC and Channel 4, and have a distribution and development deal with BBC Worldwide that will look after global sales of its shows.

“We’re very sad to have left Bwark behind us, but we’re incredibly excited about our future,” said Morris and Beesley. “We look forward to announcing our commissions shortly which will give you a real flavour of the projects you can expect from Fudge Park.”

They added: “With the formation of our new company Fudge Park we’re pleased to be expanding our creative output with the help of our new partners.”

The pair will work alongside former Bwark executives and fellow Fudge Park co-founders Mark Lesbirel, Simon Wilson, Phil Gilbert and Leo Martin.
