The students from School of Rock have reunited in New York, some 15 years after the iconic comedy first hit the big screen.

The cast of the iconic comedy met up on New Year’s Eve for dinner and drinks, and it’s no surprise to report that they’re looking just a bit different from their hugely popular turn on the big screen.

Photos posted on Instagram show the reconvened group together once more – with Brian Falduto (Billy), James Hosey (Marco), Becca Brown (Katie), Zachary Infante (Gordon) and Aleisha Lanae Allen (Alicia) all in attendance.  They were joined by Angelo Massagli (Frankie) and Caitlin Hale (Marta).

However, they weren’t joined by Jack Black or Miranda Cosgrove, who played Summer ‘Tinkerbell’ Hathaway.

Also absent was Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddy ‘Spazzy McGee’ Jones in the film. Although no longer an actor, Clark is still drumming in the band Dreadwolf and posted a photo last year after attending one of Black’s shows with Tenacious D.

Posting on the band’s official Instagram account, he shared a photo of himself alongside Black who models one of the band’s t-shirts.

“Kinda a must here, but it’s not every day you get to see Jack Black wearing your t shirt”, Clark wrote.

Meanwhile, Black explained in 2017 exactly why he thinks School of Rock was copied by Thor: Ragnarok.
