An Instagram user has taken the Tide Pod Challenge to a new level by attempting to vape the laundry pods.
The Tide Pod Challenge has been a viral sensation in recent weeks, with people posting clips online of them trying to eat the detergent pods – despite warnings from Tide and health experts.
Despite the warnings, an Instagram user who specialises in vape tricks recently shared a video of himself trying to vape the liquid from a Tide pod. Needless to say, it doesn’t turn out so well.
The user later posted a PSA video in which he warned any copycats against similarly trying to vape Tide pods.

Tide recently warned people against eating the pods, tweeting a video that featured American football player Rob Gronkowski telling the kids to “say no” to pods.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC) has also issued a warning, saying that “a meme should not become a family tragedy”.
What should Tide PODs be used for? DOING LAUNDRY. Nothing else.

According to Consumer Reports, Tide pods can be toxic because they can contain ethanol, hydrogen peroxide and long-chain polymers. These ingredients can burn the mouth, digestive system and stomach.
Ingesting the pods could also lead to gastrointestinal distress and respiratory arrest, and could even be fatal.
