BAFTA TV Awards 2016 nominations announced: Adele, ‘This Is England ’90’, ‘Peep Show’ and more

The nominations for this year’s BAFTA TV Awards have been announced. Scroll below for the full nominations list.

The ceremony, which follows on from the BAFTA Film Awards in February, will take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on May 8.

BBC historical drama Wolf Hall leads with four nominations, with actor Mark Rylance shortlisted for Leading Actor, Claire Foy for Leading Actress, Anton Lesser for Supporting Actor and the show itself nominated for Best Drama Series.

Elsewhere, Channel 4 drama This is England ’90 and Peter Kay’s Car Share have earned three nominations each.

Peep Show, which recently aired its ninth and final series, has been nominated for Best Scripted Comedy, while singer Adele receives her first BAFTA nomination for live TV special Adele at the BBC.
