Ben Affleck and Matt Damon developing espionage TV show for SyFy

Futuristic thriller 'Incorporated' set in a world controlled by corporations

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are developing a TV series for the Universal owned network SyFy.

A SyFy press release has revealed Incorporated will be “a futuristic espionage thriller set in a world where corporations have seemingly unlimited power”. It will follow “the story of one man’s efforts to beat the system”.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck and Damon’s production company Pearl Street Films and CBS Television have partnered with SyFy to develop the series idea. David and Alex Pastor (The Last Days) will write the pilot.

SyFy’s adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s cult sci-fi 12 Monkeys begins its 13-episode run in January.

Affleck’s latest film Gone Girl is currently number one at the American box office. Damon will appear next on screen in Ridley Scott’s The Martian as an astronaut struggling to survive after being stranded on Mars.

Pearl Street Films is also in pre-production on the thriller Live By Night. Affleck will direct and star in the film adapted from the novel by Shutter Island writer Dennis Lehane.

As reported, Matt Damon is in talks to return as amnesiac assassin Jason Bourne for a fourth time.
