Channel 4 show ‘Naked Attraction’ attracts complaints after showing nearly 300 penises in one episode

Controversial dating show premiered on Monday

Channel 4’s controversial new dating show Naked Attraction has received numerous complaints following its premiere on Monday night (July 25).

The programme, which airs at the post-watershed 10pm slot, aims to investigate the so-called science of “raw primitive attraction” by making contestants choose prospect partners based on the appearance of their genitalia.

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 responded to the news by saying: “This is a light-hearted and appropriately scheduled series which aims to demystify the rules of sexual attraction for the Tinder generation”.

Meanwhile, pressure group Mediawatch UK said: “Never before have programme makers shown such blatant contempt for basic standards, with record levels of explicit nudity serving no particular purpose. It’s not even like the programme was any good to compensate.”
