Controversial star could earn £6m to enter the house
Charlie Sheen is rumoured to have been offered a £6 million pay-cheque to appear as a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Big Brother franchise, dropped by Channel 4 last year, has been picked up by Channel 5 and will begin with a celebrity version.
According to a source speaking to the Daily Star, Sheen is being courted to appear:
No-one would want to miss the chance of seeing what he’s up to and hear the wacky things he’s saying. And let’s face it, he’s been saying some crazy stuff recently
While a Channel 5 spokesman insisted they were not confirming any names at present, the insider said Sheen‘s inclusion would be “a producer’s dream”.
Other stars mooted to appear on the show are boxing legends Mike Tyson and Ricky Hatton, pop twins Jedward, rapper Snoop Dogg and tabloid headline grabbers Kerry Katona and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
Celebrity Big Brother will start on Channel 5 in the forthcoming weeks. Watch a launch trailer below.
