Donald Glover made his return to SNL last night (May 20) after hosting only a few weeks back. The actor, writer, and rapper returned so the pettiest reason, however.
During his hosting episode, Glover starred in In A Kanye Place, a parody of recent horror film hit A Quiet Place. The sketch borrowed the idea of being taken by monsters if they hear you, but the actor and musician’s group of friends are unable to keep quiet when they see West’s tweets.
During host Tina Fey’s opening monologue, Glover appeared to speak to Fey about something he left. Tina Fey gave Glover one of his first comedy writing jobs at 30 Rock.
He began: “Hi, I was here a couple of weeks ago and I forgot my hat, I think I left it in the host’s dressing room”.
After Fey responds that she’ll get the hat back to him, Glover retorts: “Cool, but just so you know I have this system in place so I’ll be able to tell if you wore it or not”

Meanwhile, Solo hasn’t even been released yet and Lucasfilm are already looking to release more Solo films – including a spin-off focusing on Donald Glover’s character, Lando Calrissian.
Donald Glover recently spoke of landing the role in the upcoming film. “I told my agent, ‘If they’re making a Han Solo movie, Lando’s gotta be in it and I wanna be Lando’,” he told Jimmy Kimmel. “And to his credit – and I appreciate it – he was like, ‘I don’t like your odds’, which was awesome cos I was like, ‘I’mma get this.’”
