“It’s not cool”: ‘Game Of Thrones’ star Daniel Portman says he was groped by female fans

Portman plays Podrick Payne in the fantasy drama

Game Of Thrones star Daniel Portman has slammed female fans for allegedly groping him.

Portman, who plays Podrick Payne in the fantasy drama, claims he encountered a number of uncomfortable situations and said people should be able to “separate reality from fiction” and “it’s certainly not cool”.

Speaking to Esquire, he said: “I’ve been grabbed by so many… like the amount of older, older women who are very (grabby). What can you do? You know? Obviously tell them not to do it. It hasn’t happened for a while.

“In this day and age you’d think that people would be able to separate reality from fiction. I don’t want to say it comes with the territory, but, you know, people are crazy about it. It’s certainly not cool.”

Meanwhile, Maisie Williams recently shared her response to her character’s awkward sex scene in the latest episode of GoT.

Fans had a lot to say about the scene, with some finding it uncomfortable, having watched Arya grow up in the show.

Williams acknowledged that in a tweet, writing: “if u feel uncomfortable just know that my mother and my step dad and my 2 sisters and my 4 brothers have all probably watched this too ahahakillmeehehe.”

The latest episode of the show also saw the premiere of a new Florence + The Machine song, called ‘Jenny Of Oldstones’.
