Jeremy Piven has released polygraph test results in an attempt to prove his innocence as he is accused of sexual assault by a fourth woman.
The Entourage actor – who played Ari Gold in the hit show and its spin-off feature film – has been accused of sexual assault by actresses Ariane Bellamar and Cassidy Freeman as well as advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby.
Piven has “unequivocally denied” the allegations and described himself as “perplexed as to the misdirection of anger with false accusations against me”, adding that he “hope[s] they do not detract from the stories that should be heard”.
The star has now been accused of groping an extra on the set of Entourage in 2009. Anastasia Taneie told Buzzfeed News that Piven groped her breasts and genitals after forcibly pushing her up against a wall during a break in filming.
In a statement issued by his lawyers, Piven says: “Let me be absolutely clear, this simply did not happen. I would never force myself on a woman. I cannot speak as to why a person would create a story like this.”
Piven’s representatives also revealed the results of a polygraph test they say the actor took and passed on November 13. During the test, Piven said all claims of sexual misconduct against him were false and denied ever taking advantage or using force against a woman.
