"I've waited my whole life for this moment."
Kanye West and his family will be appearing on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’, competing against the Kardashian-Jenners.
Kanye West, wife Kim Kardashian West, his aunt Beverly, and two of his cousins, Jalil Peraza and Ricky Anderson, will make up one team on the US game show, with the Kardashian-Jenners filling the other.
The news was announced on Kim’s Instagram story yesterday (24 February), with the reality star filming from the set of the show.
“So if you guys don’t know, Kanye and I are the biggest fans of ‘Family Feud'” she reveals, turning to Kanye to say, “What did you say earlier? You’ve waited your whole life…?” before the rapper interrupts with a laugh and a: “Bah!”
“Kanye said he’s waited his whole life for this moment of ‘Family Feud’,” continues Kim.
“So we’re playing against the Kardashian-Jenners, versus the Wests, and I have a really good feeling about this, that we’re gonna win.”
A further clip shows Kanye confirming: “I’ve waited my whole life for this moment!”
Kanye’s cousin, Ricky posted a pic from the show on Instagram, saying: ‘This was definitely on the #bucketlist Had a great time with the fam!!’
The episode was filmed yesterday, but as yet there’s no air date.
Kanye West made a monumental return to Instagram on Valentine’s Day, with a nine hour tribute to iconic couples, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Princess Diana and Prince Charles, Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere, Aaliyah and Tupac and many more.
He ended it with a dedication to wife, Kim.
However, his return to social media was short-lived, with his account disappearing less than 24 hours later.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Gainsbourg covered Kanye West’s ‘Runaway’ on French television show Taratata, with the French actress whispering the lyrics instead of rapping.
