Gaga will star opposite Kathy Bates, Chloë Sevigny and Matt Bomer in horror anthology's next season
Lady Gaga looks set to be at the centre of a love triangle storyline in American Horror Story: Hotel.
Each season of American Horror Story introduces a new setting and characters, but the show’s creative team are keeping details about Season Five, Hotel, closely under wraps. Gaga became the first cast member announced for Hotel in February, and since then she has been joined by Kathy Bates, Chloë Sevigny, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Max Greenfield.
Now the show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that Finn Wittrock – who played sadistic serial killer Dandy Mott in the last season of American Horror Story, Freak Show – has also joined the Hotel cast. In a tweet posted last night (June 17), he hinted that Gaga’s character could be involved in a love triangle with Bomer’s character and Wittrock’s.
Lady Gaga announced in February that she will be starring in Season Five, and revealed its title: American Horror Story: Hotel. The new season is set to begin on US cable network FX this October (2014). It will be Gaga’s first TV acting job following small supporting roles in the films Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. She also appeared as herself in last year’s Muppets Most Wanted.
