Maisie Williams says ‘nothing will prepare you’ for ‘Game Of Thrones’ season seven

"Shit gets REAL," the actress wrote on Twitter

Maisie Williams has said “nothing will prepare you” for Game Of Thrones season 7 of the HBO show.

The actress, who plays Arya Stark, revealed on Twitter that she has read the scripts for the next series and suggested to her followers there was a lot of drama ahead.

“Just finished reading season 7. Shit gets REAL,” she wrote in the series of tweets, The Hollywood Reporter notes. “I’d start preparing yourselves now.

“Scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this. Holy BALLS.”

The seventh series will be the penultimate instalment of the show. HBO’s president of programming, Casey Bloys, said earlier this year that the decision to end Game Of Thrones after the eighth season had been made by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

“They have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do,” Bloys told Entertainment Weekly. “If I could get them to do more, I would take 10 more seasons. But we take their lead on what they think they can do the best version of the show.”

Benioff and Weiss are due to start shooting season seven shortly. It will feature seven episodes, three fewer than previous seasons, and will debut on HBO in summer 2017. The eighth and final season is expected to follow in 2018.
