Mysterious ‘Game Of Thrones’ season five website and teaser clip unveiled

Fans who visit the website are offered the chance to receive 'The Sight' via SMS or Twitter

A mysterious promotional website for season five of Game Of Thrones has been launched – along with a new teaser clip.

The show’s official Twitter account shared the clip, which features old footage of Melisandre telling Arya Stark “I see a darkness in you”, and a link to a new website at ThreeEyedRaven.com last night (November 29).

Fans who visit the website are offered the chance to receive something called “The Sight” via SMS or Twitter. If they choose the SMS option, the following message will be delivered to their mobile phones: “You now have the power of The Sight. Keep watching for visions of the future.”

HBO unveiled nine new cast members for Game Of Thrones season five at San Diego Comic-Con in July, including former Bond villain Jonathan Pryce and Oscar-nominated actress Keisha Castle-Hughes. The new season is expected to premiere on HBO in the spring.

Meanwhile, former Game Of Thrones star Charles Dance – who played wealthy Lord Tywin Lannister in the first four seasons – has recently revealed that discussions about a potential spin-off film are now underway.
