The washed-up horse will return for another series
Bojack Horseman has been renewed for season six, it has been announced.
The fifth season of the animated comedy about a washed-up actor, who also happens to be a horse, arrived on Netflix in September.
A tweet from the official Bojack Horseman Twitter page confirmed the news. “woooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww let’s all forget about the fact that theres going to b a season 6 and focus on this inedible arrangement @netflix sent me just woww,” it read.
Created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the show follows Bojack (voiced by Will Arnett), a star of an old ’90s sitcom called Horsin’ Around, who’s “washed up, living in Hollywood, complaining about everything and wearing colourful sweaters.”
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Bob-Waksberg had been commissioned to produce a new half-hour adults’ cartoon for Amazon.
Undone will follow the exploits of Alma (voiced by Maze Runner‘s Rosa Salazar) as she discovers she has a new relationship with time following a car accident. Alma then uses these newfound powers to discover the truth about her father’s death. Angelique Cabral has also been cast, as the voice of Alma’s younger sister.
The new series is expected to air in 2019. At present, there is no release date announced for Bojack Horseman season 6.
