Netflix have released a new trailer for Jessica Jones season 2.
The Marvel series stars Krysten Ritter as the titular Jones, a former superhero who starts her own detective agency.
In the new trailer, Jones says: “My whole family was killed in a car accident, someone did horrific experiments on me, and now this super vigilante shit keeps coming after me”. The rest of the clip features fights and explosions, and is soundtracked by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ ‘Runaway’.

The second season, which will arrive on Netflix on March 8, has been made completely by female directors.
On the first season, only three of the nine directors were female. None of the filmmakers involved in the new series have been announced at present.
A first teaser was shared late last year, in which saw Jones as her usual, blunt self, ending the commercial by saying: “If you say, ‘with great power comes great responsibility’, I swear I’ll throw up on you.”
A previously-released synopsis for the second season read: “Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.”
Ritter starred in The Defenders last year, which saw Jessica Jones team up with Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
