“There are not a lot of shows that, in the same season, feature guest-star appearances by both Frank Sinatra Jr and One Direction,” producers Richard Appel and Steve Callaghan told Entertainment Weekly. “And we really enjoyed their time with us, until we realised we were both old enough to be their fathers.”

This episode is set to premiere on Fox in the US in May.

On TV, Family Guy celebrated its 250th episode in 2015 with a guest appearance from Liam Neeson. In the UK, Family Guy will soon move from its existing home on BBC Three to ITV2.

Meanwhile, Zayn Malik recently revealed that he is no longer on speaking terms with some of his former One Direction bandmates.

The singer quit the boyband last March and despite trying to keep in touch with them, he claims he has been cut off.

“I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people,” he said in a new interview with Billboard. “I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time.”

He went on to say has never listened to their 2015 album ‘Made In The AM’ and criticised recent single ‘Perfect’.
