The cast of ‘Parks and Recreation’ will reunite for the show’s 10th anniversary next year

Literally!

The Parks and Recreation cast will reunite for the show’s 10th anniversary at PaleyFest next year.

The show’s last episode aired three years ago, running for a total of seven seasons and bagging a Golden Globe along the way.

Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Aziz Ansari, Rob Lowe, Retta, and Jim O’Heir are all expected to attend the event.

Speaking in a statement, Poehler and showrunner Michael Schur said: “We’re thrilled to be reuniting at PaleyFest. And truth be told, we were all hanging out already anyway, so carpooling will be easy.”

Tickets to the event and more information can be found on the PaleyFest website.

Rob Lowe shared the news, writing: “Literally!” while others commented that they couldn’t believe the show was already celebrating its tenth anniversary. You can see the reactions below.

The cast have long discussed a reunion, with Poehler revealing that the cast would be keen head back to Pawnee earlier this year.

“I’ll speak for everybody and say we would all do it. We would all do it someday,” she told Ellen DeGeneres during her visit on the talk show. However, Nick Offerman said it would only happen on one condition.

“We said that if Beyonce will play mayor, we’ll bring the show back,” he joked. “This is Beyonce Knowles, the singer”.

Meanwhile, Poehler and Offerman reunited for a new crafts competition show called ‘Making It’ this year. The programme pits contestants against each other with two challenges per episode – one timed, the other themed – in things like painting, woodwork, and metalwork. One contestant will be crowned “Master Maker”.
