‘Peaky Blinders’ to return for two more series

BBC crime drama has been renewed for a fourth and fifth outing

Peaky Blinders has be renewed for two more series.

The third series of the BBC2 show is currently airing in the UK and will be made available on Netflix in the US next month (June).

As reported by The Guardian, the BBC has now commissioned the historical crime drama for a fourth and fifth outing.


Created and written by Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders stars Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill. It follows a gang operating in Birmingham in the aftermath of World War I.


As well as two more series, it was recently rumoured that a Peaky Blinders film could be in the works.

Actor Cillian Murphy has claimed that David Bowie personally asked to have music featured in the show.
