Sacha Baron Cohen convinced unwitting politicians to use Blink-182 and Cardi B as reasons to arm schoolchildren

“Children under five also have elevated levels of the pheromone Blink-182".

The first episode of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Who Is America has aired – and it’s proving to be just as controversial as promised.

The new TV show sees the character comedian in full force once again, using a variety of disguises as he convinces high-profile figures to profess some seriously questionable statements.

But from all the characters debuted last night, it was former Israeli general Erran Morad (Cohen) who shone the brightest.

During the episode, Morad convinced a series of high-ranking Republican supporters to profess their support for a new ‘Kinder-Guardians’ initiative which calls for three and four-year old children to be armed with guns.

One highlight from the skit came during an interview with Larry Pratt, the Executive Director Emeritus of Gun Owners of America.

He was asked to read a script explaining why such a program was necessary, but had no idea that it had been laced with a series of high-profile names.

“Children under five also have elevated levels of the pheromone Blink-182, produced by the part of the liver known as the Rita Ora,” Pratt is heard to say.

“This allows nerve reflexes to travel along the Cardi B neural pathway to the Wiz Khalifa 40% faster, saving time and saving lives.”

Meanwhile, the comedian has already caused outcry from the likes of Sarah Palin, after she claimed that he set her up while she was being interviewed for the new show.

“I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick ‘humour’ of the British ‘comedian’ Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime,” Palin wrote, before explaining more about the set-up that she’d fallen for.

“This ‘legit opportunity’ to honor American Vets and contribute to a ‘legit Showtime historical documentary’ was requested of me via a speakers bureau,” she said.

“For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all.”

She then slammed Cohen for “mocking those who have fought and served our country,” adding that the stunt was “truly sick”.
