Sacha Baron Cohen has delivered a brilliant response in character, after Sarah Palin confirmed that she’d been duped by the notorious character comedian.
As Baron Cohen prepares to release new TV show Who Is America, the former Governor of Alaska claimed that she’d been interviewed by the comedian while he was disguised as a wheelchair-bound US military veteran.
Now, it’s been confirmed that the character is a conspiracy theorist called Dr. Billy Wayne Ruddick Jr – and he’s had his say on things.

The character is the founder of Truthbrary.org, a right-wing website that boasts headlines such as “Obama is a Kenyan” and “The Military has been Implanting Mind Controlled Neural Dust to remotely control their victims”.
Responding on Twitter, Baron Cohen’s character took Palin to task for her apparent “lies”.
“I did NOT say I was a War Vet,” he wrote in a note to Palin.
“I was in the service — not military, but United Parcel, and I only fought for my country once – when I shot a Mexican who came onto my property.”
He also acknowledges Palin’s involvement in the birther movement, praising her “for TELLING THE TRUTH about Obama’s birth certificate and the location of Russia.”
But he also states that she has been ““hit by a bullshit grenade” and is “bleedin’ FAKE NEWS.”
“I DEMAND an APOLOGY”, he ends the angry note.
Who Is America is set to debut in the UK next Monday – and it’s already looking like it could be one of Baron-Cohen’s most controversial projects to date.
In one early clip, former US Vice President Cheney is seen signing a waterboard kit that’s been offered to him by one of Cohen’s comedic characters.
