Watch Theresa May interview Lord Voldemort and David Cameron during this ridiculous ‘SNL’ sketch

Kate McKinnon plays the Prime Minister

Theresa May was the host of ‘Happy Christmas, Britain’ during this sketch from last night’s Saturday Night Live.

It stars Kate McKinnon as the Prime Minister, who interviews David Cameron (played by Matt Damon) and Lord Voldemort.

During the skit, May opens presents sent to her by the public which turn out to be faeces; Damon wears a questionable wig to play David Cameron and Lord Voldemort is described as “the one person in Britain more reviled than [May]’.

Last week, Andy Serkis revived Gollum in unsettling spoof of Theresa May’s Brexit deal.

In the new sketch, titled ‘LEAKED: Footage From Inside No. 10 Downing Street!’, the motion-capture actor is seen portraying an unnerving Gollum/May hybrid – who is looking over her copy of the “precious” Brexit agreement deal.

Serkis utilises the character’s split personality to weigh up the pros and cons of leaving the EU. “We take back control – money, borders, laws…blue passports!” the Gollum version of May says in the clip. The PM’s inner Smeagol replies: “No, it hurts the people – makes them poorer.”

Meanwhile, HBO recently released the trailer for their Brexit film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and people aren’t too happy about it.

The network created the film in co-production with Channel 4. Cumberbatch stars as Dominic Cummings, the strategist behind the Vote Leave team that campaigned successfully for Brexit in the 2016 referendum.

The trailer focuses on how the official Vote Leave campaign spent more than £2.7m on targeting ads at specific groups of people on Facebook – mainly people who had never voted before.Vote Leave has been investigated by the Electoral Commission over irregularities in its use of funds and data.
