Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner has described her character Sansa’s role in the show’s next season in three words: “Boss. Ass. Bitch”.
Game Of Thrones returns on April 24, with Sky Atlantic airing the episodes in the UK in a simulcast with HBO.
The season premiere took place in Los Angeles on Sunday night (April 10), with Turner describing Sansa as a “boss ass bitch” to reporters.
Sansa was last seen in the Season Five finale, having survived after leaping from Winterfell’s castle wall.
Turner recently told Entertainment Weekly that she has noticed a change in fans’ perception of her character.
“I’ve had more people saying, ‘You’re my favourite character’ than ever before, which is amazing, because I used to get ‘You’re my least favourite character,'” Turner said.
Speaking in a previous interview with The Sunday Times, Turner said: “In Season Six, Sansa takes command. It’s her season… And lots of other characters’, of course.”
HBO recently clarified that the show’s character Jon Snow is definitely dead in the first episode of the show’s sixth season.
A brief synopsis released reads: “Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.”
Asked about Snow’s fate, Turner told The Times: “For now, he’s dead. Who knows about the future?”
