‘South Park’: Randy goes “full-nuclear Karen” in trailer for ‘The Streaming Wars Part 2’

The follow-up special is released in July

A new trailer has been released for the second part of the feature-length special South Park: The Streaming Wars – you can check it out below.

The first part, which aired on Paramount+ on June 1, saw the residents of South Park tussle over elevated land to make money streaming water to others in the town as they faced a drought – combining themes of climate change with the battle between streaming services like Netflix and Disney+.

In a trailer for The Streaming Wars Part 2, Randy is seen going “full-nuclear Karen” as he tries to gain access to a water park.

South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2 is scheduled to be released on Paramount+ on July 13. The service is available through Amazon Prime in the UK for an additional fee.

This is the fourth feature-length special to be released on Paramount+, following last year’s specials South Park: Post Covid and South Park: Post Covid: The Return Of Covid.

South Park concluded its 25th season after six episodes back in March. The season covered Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Butters celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.

Earlier this year, it was announced Kendrick Lamar is producing a live-action comedy with show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

The untitled film – which began production in spring 2022 – will see the past and present coming to a head when a young Black man who is interning as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his.

Kendrick and his longtime manager and business partner Dave Free will produce the project through their multi-disciplinary media company pgLang, while Stone and Parker will produce via their company Park County.
