This is what it will take for ‘Stranger Things’ star David Harbour to officiate your wedding

Actor willing to get ordained in exchange for cake

Stranger Things star David Harbour has said that he’s willing to officiate a fan’s wedding – but only if she manages to amass 125,000 retweets.

Harbour recently took yearbook photos with a fan after she reached his set target of 25,000 retweets.

Then, this week, a fan took to Twitter to ask Harbour what it would take for him to “be the Officiant at my wedding in September”.

Harbour replied: “125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece.”

The fan’s tweet has so far been retweeted over 35,000 times, while Harbour’s reply has been shared 50,000 times (correct at the time of publishing).

Stranger Things season 2 arrived on Netflix in October. Read everything we know about season 3 here.

Harbour’s Stranger Things co-star Finn Wolfhard is set to star in a new film, The Goldfinch, along with Baby Driver star Ansel Elgort.

Wolfhard will play Young Boris in the adaptation of Donna Tartt’s best-selling novel, which is being directed by Brooklyn filmmaker John Crowley.

The Goldfinch, which is being made by Warner Bros. and Amazon Studios, will also star Elgort as Theo, a young man who was taken in by a wealthy New York family after his mother is killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The film will see the narrative split into two parts: one focusing on young Theo struggling to cope following his mother’s passing, and the other following adult Theo as he attempts to recover a stolen painting.
