A Stranger Things video game is currently in the works, it has been confirmed.
The Netflix series, which debuted its second season last October (and a third is currently being made), will be the subject of a new title from Telltale Games, which has worked on the likes of the Walking Dead and Minecraft: Story Mode games in recent years.
Announcing the game on their Twitter during the ongoing E3 conference, Telltale initially registered their delight at the reaction fans have had to the idea of Minecraft: Story Mode coming to Netflix in the near future.
The company then confirmed that they are currently developing a game based on Stranger Things – though wider details about the game are still scarce at the moment, with console compatibility and release dates yet to be confirmed.
Separately, we're thrilled to confirm that Telltale is developing a game based on Stranger Things that we'll publish to consoles and computers at a later date. (2/3)

Telltale, which largely works on narrative-focused games that challenge the player to advance the story along themselves, have also worked on video game adaptations of such franchises as Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman.
The forthcoming video game version of Stranger Things follows the recent news that the show will soon be adapted into a book series which will explore Eleven’s past – check out everything we know about the books so far here.
