10-episode run due to air in February on AMC
AMC have released a new trailer for the highly anticipated Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.
The 10-second teaser features Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk) saying to a jury: “I bet if we were in church right now I’d get a big Amen…”
As reported, Vince Gilligan is currently filming Breaking Bad spin-off series Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk. It will follow the origins of Walter’s lawyer Saul Goodman. When we meet Saul he’s actually called Jimmy McGill and hustling for ‘legal’ work with fixer Mike Ehrmantraut. Due to a shifting timeline, the show is initially set in 2002, six years before Saul meets Walter.
Breaking Bad was triumphant at last month’s Emmy Awards sweeping the board in the main drama categories. Bryan Cranston won best actor while his co-stars Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn were honoured for their supporting roles in the show.
The first season of Better Call Saul will run across 10 episodes and is scheduled to air on Netflix in February next year. A second season, consisting of 13 episodes, has already been commissioned.
