Tina Fey and Amy Poehler spoof Taylor Swift’s ‘squad’ in ‘SNL’ sketch – watch

Guest hosts also revived their roles as Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returned to Saturday Night Live last night (December 19) to host the show they both made their names in.

Fey and Poehler are promoting new film Sisters and appeared on the US comedy show alongside musical guest Bruce Springsteen. Among their sketches was ‘Dope Squad’, a parody of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ video and its array of guest stars.

Robert Downey Sr and chat show host Gayle King are among the Dope Squad members, as too it comic Amy Schumer.

Other sketches on the night included one in which Fey and Poehler revived their Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton characters and another in which men are introduced to their second wives.

Sisters sees longtime collaborators Fey and Poehler play sisters who return home when their parents decide to sell their family house.

Fey served as one of the film’s producers alongside Meet The Parents director Jay Roach and Austin Powers producer John S. Lyons, while Poehler is credited as an executive producer.

Sisters is in cinemas now. Fey and Poehler previously starred together in the 2008 comedy film Baby Mama, while Poehler also appeared in Fey’s cult 2004 teen comedy Mean Girls. They also co-hosted the annual Golden Globe Awards together in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
