Hit Netflix show returns in 2017
Saturday Night Live has spoofed Stranger Things with a sketch poking fun at all the questions left unanswered by the hit show.
Netflix recently confirmed that it has renewed Stranger Things for a second season. Season two will feature nine episodes, one more than the first, launching on Netflix at a date in 2017 which has yet to be announced.
This SNL sketch offers a “sneak peek” of the show’s second season, including what happened to Eleven, as well as introducing Lucas’ notably absent parents.

Creators the Duffer Brothers have already revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that season two will introduce four new characters and “venture a little bit outside of Hawkins” as well as exploring more of The Upside Down.
“We obviously have this gate to another dimension, which is still very much open in the town of Hawkins. And a lot of questions there in terms of, if the Monster is dead, was it a singular monster? What else could be out there?” Matt Duffer explained.
“We really don’t go in there much until they go in to find Will at the end. So we’ve opened up this doorway, and to us it’s exciting to talk about, like, what else is behind there? There’s a lot more mystery there to be solved.”
