Sky Ferreira has teamed up with Julee Cruise to perform the Twin Peaks theme tune.
Cruise appeared in the original series on a number of occasions to sing the track ‘Falling’ which is composed by Angelo Badalamenti.
At the weekend Ferreira joined forces with Cruise for a live version of the theme at director David Lynch’s Festival Of Disruption in LA. You can watch footage below.
Ferreira is set to appear in the 2017 Twin Peaks reboot but it has not been confirmed whether she will song the theme with Cruise in the show.

A teaser trailer for the comeback series of Twin Peaks was recently posted online.
The clip also featured composer Badalamenti playing music from the show’s score, projected over a mysterious forest backdrop. A photo of the character Laura Palmer appears during the video.
In 2014, it was first announced that Lynch’s cult show would return on Showtime. Earlier this year, it was reported that the revival series would be two seasons long.
The cast for the Twin Peaks reboot includes returning actors like Ray Wise, Miguel Ferrer, and David Duchovny.
New to the show are musicians Trent Reznor, Ferreira, Eddie Vedder and Sharon Van Etten.
The show’s co-creator Mark Frost is due to release a new book called The Secret History Of Twin Peaks. Actors from the program, including Kyle MacLachlan, Russ Tamblyn, and others, will voice the audiobook.
Showtime CEO David Nevins revealed earlier this year that the first half of the new episodes will debut in the “first half of 2017”.
“I think it is quite possible we’re not going to do a traditional release pattern. I’ve had a couple conversations with David [Lynch],” Nevins said.
“But I want to embrace the unexpectedness of it, so I could definitely see longer episodes or in terms of this question of how do we release it linearly and how do we release it for people who want to stream it; maybe there’s something different between the two.”
