Netflix launches the new season of the political drama starring Kevin Spacey on March 4
Netflix has released a dark new trailer for season four of House Of Cards. Scroll down to watch.
The fourth season of the award-winning political drama will debut on Netflix on March 4 – slightly later than the show’s usual launch date in February. As with previous seasons, all the new episodes will be released simultaneously, allowing fans to watch at their leisure.
Kevin Spacey and Michel Kelly will once again be joined by Robin Wright as Frank’s equally scheming wife Claire Underwood, while Scream actress Neve Campbell has joined the cast in a series regular role. Campbell’s character has yet to be revealed, but it is believed she will be playing a new rival to the Underwoods, potentially one half a younger Frank and Claire-style power couple.
Since premiering in 2013, House Of Cards has become one of Netflix’s most popular and critically acclaimed original series. Spacey and Wright have each won a Golden Globe award for their performances on the show, which is based on a 1990s BBC mini-series of the same name.
Netflix has already ordered a fifth season to air in 2017, though the acclaimed drama’s showrunner Beau Willimon will not be returning for season five and his successor has yet to be announced.
