Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner missed the UK premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last night (July 1).
Though the trio had given fair warning that they were unable to attend due to work commitments, some fans in London‘s Leicester Square made their feelings known, wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the word ‘Robbed’.
The three leads recorded brief video messages to the thousands of committed fans who camped outside the Odeon cinema – some waited for up to 34 hours.
Pattinson said: “Sorry I can’t be here tonight, but I hope you have a fantastic time with the rest of the cast this evening.”
The world premiere in Los Angeles last week was equally mobbed by fans, triggering Glastonbury-like camps outside the cinema.
