The singer took a musical trip down memory lane with James Corden
Christina Aguilera has taken part in James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ – check out the footage below.
The popstar appeared on the iconic segment of The Late Late Show earlier this week – belting out impressive versions of some of her huge ’00s bangers.
As she sat in the passenger seat, Aguilera sang along to the hits ‘Dirrty’, ‘Fighter’, ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Genie In A Bottle’. Comedian Melissa McCarthy also popped-up unexpectedly.
Aguilera was the first act to appear in Corden’s musical car this year. In 2017, the likes of Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Foo Fighters took part.
The Foos went on to reveal that they found their appearance “a little uncomfortable”.
“By hour three in the dude’s car it got less fun,” guitarist Pat Smear told NME. “It kinda went on. When we stopped at Guitar Centre, that felt like we were done, but it was like ‘this is halfway’.”
The star made headlines with her appearance on the cover new ‘Transformation’ issue of Paper Magazine. As well as showcasing her bold but stripped-back new image, Aguilera also opened up about her sympathies with victims of domestic violence, having watched her mother suffer in her younger days.
