Marvel has shared the first teaser for next year’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.
The studio describes the teaser as an “official sneak peek”, which suggests the first full-length trailer is still to come. Rumours suggest that trailer will arrive with Marvel’s next film, Doctor Strange, which opens in UK cinemas on Friday week (October 28).
Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana’s Gamora and Dave Bautista’s Drax all appear in the sneak peek, joined by Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel’s Baby Groot. Watch below.
Meanwhile, Marvel has also shared a new promo poster for the sequel, which opens in UK cinemas on April 28.

Director James Gunn recently compared Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 to his original 2014 movie. “I’d say the first film is a space opera, not a science-fiction film,” he said. “The second move is a bit more science-fiction, though.”
Kurt Russell has joined the cast for the sequel and will play the father of Pratt’s Star-Lord. Karen Gillan’s Nebula has also returned for Vol. 2 and is apparently a “huge character” in the new movie.
Released in August 2014, Guardians Of The Galaxy became a sizeable success at the global box office, grossing a shade under $775 million (£492 million) at cinemas worldwide.
