He said he ticked off a "massive bucket list item"
Game Of Thrones‘ Kristian Nairn has shared a video of him shredding on guitar with Megadeth on Monday (June 25).
The actor plays Hodor in the fantasy TV series, which is due to conclude with its final season next year.
Posting on his Instagram page, Nairn wrote: “Sometimes I don’t know how things happen.. haha. My 14 year old and 42 year old self had a massive bucket list item checked off and got to play warm up with @megadeth yesterday. The band that started my journey honestly. I don’t have the words. I just don’t.”
He thanked the band members for “being just a great bunch of humans” and included the hashtag “#faints”. Watch the video above.
Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin will appear at the 2018 ThrillerFest in New York City next month.
The festival – the “premiere conference for thriller enthusiasts, bringing together famous authors and new ones along with industry professionals, agents, and fans” – welcomes the brains behind Game of Thrones 10-14 July at the Grand Hyatt.
BrooklynVegan reports that Martin will participate in the different components of the conference, including Master CraftFest, CraftFest, PitchFest, ThrillerFest, and the Awards Banquet.
Martin announced recently that one of HBOs’ five, planned Game of Thrones spinoff series had been dropped.
