The actor served as the guest host on last night's edition of the comedy show
Kit Harington had to evade spoiler requests from his Game Of Thrones co-stars as he hosted SNL last night (April 6).
The actor, who plays Jon Snow in the long-running series, was besieged by questions from his fellow stars as he delivered his opening monologue.
While taking questions from the audience, Emilia Clarke asked him to reveal how the show ends. “Emilia, you’re in the show,” Harington replied. “You know already.”
“Well yeah, but you know, I forgot,” she responded. “I mean, it’s been so damn long since the last season. Plus a lot of my scenes are talking to a dragon, which is just a tennis ball on a green pole so I have no idea what’s actually happening.”
Harington was also quizzed by John Bradley, who plays Samwell Tarly, and his wife Rose Leslie, who appeared in the show as Ygritte between 2012 and 2014. After the guest host had avoided answering their questions, SNL’s Pete Davidson appeared dressed as the Night King. You can watch the full monologue above.
Game Of Thrones will return for its eighth and final season on April 15. It had its official premiere in New York last week (April 3), which was attended by the cast and writer George R.R. Martin.
Meanwhile, Clarke recently revealed how learning the Game Of Thrones language Dothraki had helped her recover from two life-threatening brain aneurysms. During an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, she revealed it helped keep her mind active and aided her recovery.
The actor, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the show, recently launched a new charity called SameYou, which aims to provide treatment for others recovering from brain injuries and strokes.
