The Sheffield band’s sixth studio effort was only previously available from their recent pop up shops on the day the album was released.
But it is now being sold from their official website. You can purchase it from here.
The tape version features the first seven tracks of the album on Side A and the remaining four on Side B.
The band are also offering up a customised karate bandana with the slogan “warp speed chic” which is a lyric taken from the track ‘Star Treatment’. You can purchase it here.
Today (July 26), the album was nominated for this year’s Mercury Music Prize along with Noel Gallagher, Lily Allen, Wolf Alice and Florence And The Machine. It was their fourth nomination for the prize. They are 4 to 1 favourites to win the prize.
They previously won the award for their debut album ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ and are now the second most-nominated act in the award’s 26-year history.
Only Radiohead have more nominations, with five, although they’ve never taken home the trophy.
Meanwhile, Arctic Monkeys revealed the video for the title track of the album earlier this week. The clip sees Turner in a fictitious hotel and answering the phone as Mark, the receptionist he sings off in the lines: “Good afternoon/ Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino/ Mark speaking/ Please tell me how may I direct your call?“
