It was a bumper weekend for festivals (July 23-5), so we're doing a round-up. Here's the main stage at Truck - which is still built on the back of a lorry, giving the Oxfordshire festival its name.

One fan goes crowd surfing at Truck over the weekend (July 24-25). It was the event's 13th birthday celebrations and the organisers booked Teenage Fanclub to play in honour of the anniversary.
Ms Dynamite was 45 minutes late onstage. DJ Zinc kept the audience entertained until he announced: "Ms Dynamite is in the shed." The singer apologised and then launched into a drum and bass version of 'Dy-Na-Mi-Tee'.
The lucky fans that got in to see Ms Dynamite at Truck on Saturday (July 24). Some were left out in the cold when the crowd stretched outside the Barn Stage doors. Festival goers chanted at security to let them in and sparked up an impromptu singalong of Beastie Boys tunes among those left outside.
Good Shoes play to a packed tent at the Village Pub Stage (July 24). Is Tropical sang along while watching the band from the crowd and the boys rattled through hits including 'The Photos On My Wall' and 'Ice Age', with lead singer Rhys Jones jumping into the audience for 'We Are Not The Same'.

Stornoway play the Truck Stage on Saturday (July 24). The Oxford band played Truck for the fourth time at their homecoming gig.

Secret Garden Party also took place this past weekend. Held at an estate near Cambridge, the festival is surrounded by gardens, a lake and a river.

And so to London's 1234 Festival. Bobby Gillespie chose the occasion to unveil his new supergroup The Silver Machine, featuring Sex Pistols founder Glen Matlock and sometime Oasis drummer Zak Starkey, along with regular Primal Scream bandmates Andrew Innes and Barrie Cadogan.
