2014's comeback king Jamie T made a storming return at Reading with a secret set in the tiny confines of the Festival Republic stage

The eager crowd spilled out from from the edges of the small tent, trying to get a glimpse of the indie hero as he played new material and old favourites

The crowd welcomed Jamie with huge roars as he kicked things off with 'The Man Machine' and new single 'Don't You Find'

The south London singer was on top form as he rattled through a stellar setlist including 'Salvador' and 'If You Got The Money'

Jamie took the time to share his own Reading memories with the raucous mass of fans in front of him. "I first came to Reading Festival when I was 15 years old. I saw a band called Rancid playing," he told them.

One fan was even sly enough to make his way on stage to try and grab a selfie with the musician, before being swiftly carted off by security

Fan favourite 'Sheila' sent the crowd into overdrive as they yelled the words back at the stage

The singer brought things to a close with 'Sticks 'N' Stones' from his second album 'Kings And Queens', provoking a fresh wave of crowdsurfers to finish the set
