The stage times for this weekend’s Reading And Leeds Festivals have been revealed. The event, which takes place from August 26-28, will be headlined by My Chemical Romance, Muse and a co-headline effort from Pulp and The Strokes.

Glasvegas were forced to end their V Festival set early last night (August 20) after crowd members repeatedly threw bottles at them. According to online reaction from concert goers, the band only lasted for four songs before walking offstage during their set at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.

Both Carl Barat and his management have dismissed tabloid reports that The Libertines are reuniting for a UK tour. It was reported in the Sunday Mirror that Pete Doherty and Carl Barat had reconciled and were on the brink of announcing a tour, after Barat tweeted a picture of him and Doherty together, but the prospect of a reunion tour has now been completely ruled out.

U2 frontman Bono recently suffered a health scare after coming down with heart palpitations in the south of France. The singer spent a number of hours at the Princess Grace Memorial Hospital in Monaco last Wednesday (August 17) after complaining of chest pains.
