Morrissey kicked off a short UK tour at Plymouth Pavilions on Tuesday (September 15), treating fans to a 20-song setlist including a couple of classic Smiths songs thrown in for good measure. Here’s how the show went down, in pictures.
Kicking off his first UK tour in two years, Morrissey's first stop was at Plymouth Pavilions last night (September 15).
Opening with 'Suedehead', Moz then continued with old tracks 'Alma Matters' and 'Speedway' before bringing out a couple of tracks from last year's 'World Peace Is None Of Your Business' including 'Kiss Me A Lot' and the record's title track.
The latter part of the set included the likes of 'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris', 'The Bullfighter Dies' and 'Every Day Is Like Sunday' – plus Smiths classics 'Meat Is Murder' and 'What She Said'.
Returning to the venue for the first time since his 2011 performance, Morrissey had fans queueing overnight outside the venue to get a coveted spot on the front row.
Local Plymouth paper The Herald reports that the singer not only banned meat from the venue, but also beachballs. Beachballs is, er, murder?
Morrissey's tour continues in Hull on Friday (September 18) before heading to London's Eventim Apollo for two dates on September 20 and 21.
