Alright, who saw this coming? Because we certainly didn’t. Stoke City and England footballer Peter Crouch stars in the new video from Peace, released last week. ‘Generation Strange’, from the group’s recent second album ‘Happy People’, sees Crouch play a member of a gang that call Peace “fucking emos”. The band were nice enough to send us some behind the scenes snaps from the shoot. Check ’em out…
"Someone pulled out and they asked me like sort of last minute really. I was doing nothing that day so it literally ended up being like that," Peter Crouch told NME last week of his role in the video. "Super sub. I'm getting used to that."
The band play alter-egos The Toadz in the 'Gen Strange' video. Nice Adidas trackies, lads.
Striking a pose in some woodland, the bloody mentalists.
Anyone for cricket?
Careful now, fellas.
Local residents were probably pretty confused by the scenes outside their homes.
Don't think much of your tour bus, Peace.
Little and large.
TFW you're shooting a new video but forgot to pack two shoes.
Pete's loving it.
Uh oh. This could all end in tears.
There's a 'spittlefields' joke in here somewhere.
