Primal Scream played two shows at London's Olympia on Friday (26 November) and Saturday (27), to celebrate twenty years since the release of 'Screamadelica'. After the second show there was an after-show at W Hotel's Wyld Bar, attended by famous liggers such as Liam Gallagher and Jarvis Cocker.
Primal Scream played a greatest hits set at the Olympia venue followed by all the songs from the Andrew Weatherall-produced album. "It's not really reliving the old days," insisted singer Bobby Gillespie. "A lot of the songs we recorded in the studio and never played them live."
