Coldplay have confirmed their plan to give away a live album to fans attending their forthcoming tour dates. Chris Martin’s gang will give the nine-track live album, entitled ‘LeftRightLeftRightLeft’, to all fans attending their ‘Viva La Vida’ tour dates – including their five UK dates set for September. The album will be available as a free download from the band’s official website, Coldplay.com, from May 15.

Dinosaur Jr are giving away a track from their highly anticipated forthcoming album via their website.’I Want To Know You’ – the album’s first single – head to www.dinosaurjr.com now to download it. The band’s new album, ‘Farm’, is due out in the US on June 23 and a day earlier in the UK, as previously reported.

The Charlatans’ Tim Burgess has revealed the line-up for the Big Top tent at the Isle Of Wight festival.The singer has chosen The Horrors, Killing Joke, Black Lips and Hatcham Social to play on the bill, which his band will be headlining. Teenage Cancer Trust Performance – London

Razorlight’s forthcoming UK shows will see the band supported by Howling Bells and The Airborne Toxic Event, as well as marking the first major jaunt with their new drummer. Bjork is to release a 2xCD/2xDVD package of live recordings and remixes on June 23. The box set includes footage from the Paris date of her ‘Volta’ tour, music videos, a live CD and an album of remixes, with the likes of Simian Mobile Disco and Matthew Herbert putting their spin on some Bjork classics.

Faith No More have confirmed that they will play at Denmark’s Roskilde festival this summer. The bash takes place on July 2-5, with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, Coldplay and Pet Shop Boys among the other names set to perform. The newly-reformed band are also set to play at the Download festival in the UK on June 12.

An insurance TV advert featuring Iggy Pop has been ordered not to be broadcast in future, after being judged “misleading” by advertising authorities.The Swiftcover advert sees Pop state: “I got it Swiftcovered. I got insurance on my insurance!” However, as NME.COM reported in February, Swiftcover doesn’t actually provide car insurance to entertainers.
