Tribes brought the current series of Durex’s Intimate Sessions to a close on Wednesday (October 9) as they played a special gig in West London’s Bush Hall.
The group played with a stripped back line-up, with much of the gig featuring only singer Johnny Lloyd and bassist Jim Cratchley, who switched to guitar for the night.
Drummer Miguel Demelo joined the pair on guitar for versions of ‘We Were Children’ and ‘How The Other Half Live’.
“I think this is maybe our third acoustic gig ever,” Lloyd told the crowd. During ‘We Were Children’, he explained: “This is the part of the song where I’d normally jump into the crowd. I’m not feeling that tonight… would that be intimate?”
Previous artists to have played as part of Durex’s Intimate Sessions’ include Wretch 32 and Little Comets.
