The Killers covered Oasis’ classic ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ and offered a small preview of their forthcoming fourth album ‘Battle Born’ as they brought the first night of V Festival in Staffordshire to a close on Saturday.
The Killers’ Brandon Flowers told the crowd “We’re going to pay tribute to one of the UK’s finest” before launching into a cover of Liam and Noel’s 1995 classic ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.
The Killers also played fan favourites including ‘Somebody Told Me’, ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ and ‘Mr Brightside’.
Saturday night at Hylands Park saw a headline set from the recently reformed Stone Roses.
