Glastonbury don Michael Eavis reckons it was the muddiest ever. “In all 46 years, it hasn’t been as bad as this.”

Matt Bellamy wasn’t allowed to bring his drones to Glasto, so settled on bringing hits instead.

The Tottenham Titan dropped the f-bomb 33 times during her Pyramid Stage slot. “The BBC had to give a warning about my potty mouth before I went on” she cackled. “I bet Muse didn’t get that”.

The band brought the festival to a graceful close, welcoming on Michael Eavis for ‘My Way’ and Bee Gee Barry Gibb for ‘Stayin’ Alive’, and paying tribute to Warrington band Viola Beach.
