Where Can I Watch The Oscars 2016 In The UK?

It’s been another phenomenal year of cinema and it’s almost time for the biggest night in the movie calendar – The Oscars 2016. Leonardo DiCaprio looks like he could finally nab his Best Actor Award Academy Award (awks if he doesn’t, eh?) and The Room starring Brie Larson, is hotly tipped to scoop several awards on the big night.

If social media is anything to go by – this year’s Oscars are set to be the most controversial yet. A widespread boycott of the awards is picking up momentum in response to the lack of diversity amongst the nominees. Spike Lee and Will Smith have already said they won’t be attending the event and the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag continues to trend… much to The Academy’s dismay.

Despite all this, we’ll no doubt still be desperate to know who will be crowned winners on the night. But where can you watch The Oscars if you live in The UK? And at what time is it shown? We’ve compiled the essential information you need to watch Hollywood’s big night on February 28th. Take a look, book the next day off work, stock up on snacks and get ready for a long night packed with more than a few surprises.
